You've completed a My School DC application, which is the first step. Now it's time to enroll. Here's how.
IMPORTANT: Due to District-wide public health advisories relating to COVID-19, the annual enrollment process and deadline will be adjusted to minimize the number of people who need to enroll in person. Currently, the initial enrollment deadline is Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
If your child is matched with a school through the lottery for school year 2020-21, you must enroll your child at their matched school by May 27, 2020. If you do not enroll your child by May 27, 2020, you may lose your space at that school. To accept an offer off a school's waitlist, you must enroll your child by the school's communicated deadline.
*The My School DC Seat Acceptance Form confirms that you are accepting your space. It also authorizes your child’s current school to transfer your child’s school records to his or her new school. The form confirms that you are giving up your child’s space at their current school and will be removed from the waitlists of schools you ranked below the school where you are enrolling.
