Not RequiredA five-time recipient of the US Department of Education's Blue Ribbon School Award, Horace Mann Elementary is a lively place of learning where curiosity and connection are celebrated. Our renovated and expanded campus, which features a rooftop farm, arts classrooms, and an expansive outside playscape, invites us to learn within and beyond our school walls. Serious about our students' academic growth, we also believe that a school community must be a place of joy and celebration.

• Our students are readers! Circulation of books in and out of the Mann Library is among the highest in the district!
• Nearly all Mann adults have participated voluntarily in mindfulness training so that we bring our best to our students each day.
• Visitors to our classrooms consistently share how purposeful learning looks and students are engaged because they see their role as important.
