• Variety of student clubs for students across all grade bands (Robotics, Science Curiology Club, Step Club, Chess Club, Book Club, Running Club, Student Newspaper, Disc Jockey Club, and MS Recess Clubs)
• Partnerships in teacher development programs. 50% of the Shaw Instructional staff are alums of Teach for America and Urban Teachers. This means that our teachers are more than equipped to support today's modern learner.
• A hallmark of the Shaw student experience is the accessibility to the principal. Mr. Dukes takes meeting requests from students to hear their concerns as well as their ideas for how improvements can be made to the Shaw community.
