Duke Ellington School of the Arts is the only high school in DC that combines a full college-preparatory curriculum with intensive pre-professional arts training in one of eight majors. Ellington serves diverse and talented students from all wards of the city. Presently, the Ellington School is operating from its temporary locations in the Shaw – U Street corridor. Ellington will return to its newly renovated R Street location in Georgetown for SY17-18.
