The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, D.C. (SEED PCS), was founded in 1998 as the nation's first public boarding school. SEED PCS's mission is to provide an intensive, college-preparatory educational program that prepares students, both academically and socially, for success in college and beyond. Students balance rigorous academics, to include Advanced Placement (AP) courses and a dual enrollment program. Students also engage in robust extracurricular activities, including athletics, arts, and international travel
