The SEED Public Charter School of Washington, D.C., was founded in 1998 as the nation's first public boarding school. SEED's mission is to provide an outstanding, intensive educational program that prepares children, both academically and socially, for success in college and beyond. Students also engage in robust extracurricular activities, including athletics, arts, and international travel.
